Sites
The sites on this tour are based upon Professor Ken Marek’s careful research and all reflect locations associated with either Ernest Hemingway’s life or with his writing. At eleven sites you will find a bronze marker with text explaining the site’s significance. Property owners have graciously allowed the signs to be placed on their property and for that the Michigan Hemingway Society is grateful.
Locations range from downtown Petoskey to Walloon Lake to Horton Bay. Each stop has a number associated with it but it is not necessary to visit them in any particular order.
